Attorney Brian Wanca of Rolling Meadows, IL; wife beater

The state of Illinois presented Brian John Wanca with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law Illinois Institute of Technology School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

• Put his hand on wife’s neck and didn’t remove it until she told him she couldn’t breathe
• Wife called Palatine Police to file complaint against Brian
• Arriving officers noted in their report that they observed visible red marks on Brian’s wife’s neck
• Brian was charged with Domestic Battery and the case was docketed in the Domestic Violence Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County
• Subsequently, Brian pled guilty to Battery, a Class A misdemeanor

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (September 2018), Brian practices with Brian John Wanca, JD, PC at 3701 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
