Donald Trump’s 67th post-election lie: Fake Dirty Dossier
On July 13, 2018, the FBI and Justice Department released a 400 page copy of the several FISA warrants that were issued by four (4) republican appointed judges to monitor phone calls and emails of former Trump foreign policy advisor Carter Page.
Although heavily redacted, the 400 page document clearly proves that the FBI presented evidence to the FISA court of the ongoing conduct of Page involving his repeated contacts with Russian operatives. The so-called Steele Dossier was only a part of the FISA warrant application. In fact, the warrant would have been issued without any reference to the Steele Dossier since the FBI was tracking Page’s contacts with Russian agents beginning in 2003.
Of course the truth about how the FISA warrant came to be and its legitimacy is of no concern to The Great Leader. In order to toss a little red meat to his intellectually deprived followers, The Great Leader sent out the following tweet on the morning of July 23, 2018.
"So we now find out that it was indeed the unverified and Fake Dirty Dossier, that was paid for by Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC, that was knowingly & falsely submitted to FISA and which was responsible for starting the totally conflicted and discredited Mueller Witch Hunt!"
So now we have The Great Leader elevating the Dossier to being a “Fake Dirty Dossier.” It cannot be disputed that the Dossier was not solely responsible for the initiation of and the issuance of four (4) FISA warrants to eavesdrop on Mr. Page.
I wonder what The Great Leader’s dyed-in-the-wool followers will say when the Mueller investigation provides documentary and/or taped evidence that members of the Trump campaign actively cooperated with Russians to throw the election to The Great Leader. Will they be persuaded that actual tapes of Trump advisors and copies of emails and texts are “Fake News?”
