Attorney Raul Jauregui of Philadelphia; ethical troll

The state of Pennsylvania provided Raul I. Jauregui with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Raul guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated duties to client of confidentiality
  • Engaged in a textbook conflict of interest
  • Failed to obtain written consent to represent a client whose interests conflicted with those of another client
  • Failed to comply with various court orders (Up yours, said Raul!)
  • Deliberately and willfully failed to comply with discovery requests from opposing counsel
  • Filed a complaint that he absolutely knew was barred since the claims had previously been litigated and disposed of (res judicata)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Raul by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Raul practices with the Jauregui Law Office at 720 Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
