U.S. Judge Robert Klausner: California’s 2017 Double Dipping Porker of the Year Winner

The state of California presented Robert Klausner with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles.

In 2002 President George W. Bush was duped into appointing Bobby to a federal judgeship for the Central District Court of California.  Bobby didn’t get this appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Los Angeles area. He got it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

It should be noted that Jimmy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past fifty-one years (ca. 1967 thru 2018). Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Los Angeles area was about to offer Bobby a good paying job.

In addition to his annual $208,000 federal salary, Bobby also collects an annual judicial pension from California of approximately $128,000, thereby giving him a total annual income of $336,000.

For reasons better known to George Bush and/or his advisors, Bobby was appointed to the federal bench he was sixty-one years old (DOB: 1941). After spending twenty-six years as a state judge/commissioner (1974-2002) why would anyone even consider appointing him to a lifetime job?

As we speak (ca. July 2018), Bobby continues to sit as a U.S. District Court Judge in Los Angeles, California.
