Attorney Carol Herring of Chadds Ford, PA; idiot, crook, slacker

The state of Pennsylvania provided Carol Tatem Herring with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from Temple University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Carol guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misconduct in representation in connection with the removal of juveniles from the care of their adoptive parents
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
• Failed to consult with clients
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Charged excessive fee (crook)
• Failed to provide client with written fee agreement
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Asserted issues where there was no basis in law or fact
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communication
• Engaged in conduct intended to disrupt tribunal
• Knowingly made false statements

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Carol by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2018) Carol practices at 225 Wilmington-West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
