Attorney Lee Benford II of Ripley, WV; ethical goblin

The state of West Virginia presented Lee F. Benford II with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from West Virginia University Law School.

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to return client calls
• Failed to comply with client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Lee by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Lee practices in Ripley, West Virginia.
