The state of Pennsylvania provided Andrew Wilson Barbin with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Akron Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly deposited personal funds into office trust account
• Failed to promptly deliver funds owing to client
• Failed to perform periodic reconciliations of client trust accounts
• Failed to maintain client trust account records for five years
• Failed to maintain required trust account records

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Andy.
