Attorney Diane Violette of Ontario, CAN; thieving loser, repeater

The Law Society of Upper Canada presented Diane Anne Marie Nicole Violette with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the University of Toronto Law School.

The Hearing Committee for the Law Society found Diane guilty of the following misconduct.

Diane’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Improperly withdrew fees from trust funds held on behalf of client, which were earmarked for another specific purpose
  • Failed to respond with reasonable promptness to communications from the successor solicitor

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hearing Committee punished Diane by gifting her with a complimentary 1-month suspension of her law license.

Diane’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Improperly withdrew trust funds of $6,157 held on behalf of former client
  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Breached promise that no funds would be released from trust without consent of the parties or via a court orde

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hearing Committee punished Diane by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Diane practices at 11 Elgin Street in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
