Attorney Morris W. Thompson of Little Rock, liar, scofflaw, thief

Morris W. Thompson received his law license from the Arkansas Supreme Court in 1980 after graduating from Creighton University Law School.

In 1992 Morris succeeded in duping the voters in Pulaski and Perry Counties into electing him as a Circuit Court Judge for the 5th Division, 6th Judicial District.

During his tenure on the bench, the Arkansas Judicial Commission filed misconduct charges against Morris. Subsequently the Commission found Judge Morris W. Thompson guilty of the following:
  1. Unlawfully representing clients and collected attorney fees while sitting on the bench
  2. Testified falsely (felony perjury) re: as to where he deposited client funds
  3. Wrote at least sixty-four (64) checks that bounced
  4. Unlawfully converted (stole) $29,971.35 in client funds belonging to Southern Council of Industrial Workers
  5. Failed to report outside income as required by statute of $95,000 in 1993 and $180,000 in 1996
  6. Drove his gold Ford pickup truck with a fictitious license plate tag
For his egregious misconduct, Morris became the first judge in the history of Arkansas to be removed from the bench by the Supreme Court.

On his self-serving website Morris has the chutzpah to state that he is an accomplished attorney that prides itself on maintaining open communication with our clients in providing only the best legal experience to each and every case. Obviously, Morris missed his calling as a standup comedian!

Of course Morris’ website makes absolutely no mention that he was removed from the bench and/or that he is a serial criminal. If he did so it would likely limit is future victim pool!

Morris was never criminally prosecuted for felony perjury nor for bouncing at least 64 checks. This only further proves that Judicial Misfits are held to a lower standard of conduct in Arkansas than normal citizens are.

As we speak (ca. Jan 2012) Morris the Moron continues to practice law in Little Rock.
