Solicitor Desmond Donoghue of Scotland; ethical elf

The Law Society presented Desmond William Donoghue with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Edinburgh School of Law.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Desmond guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in professional misconduct
• Failed to maintain proper records on trust accounts

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Desmond by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
