Attorney Edwin Mackie Jr. of Granville, TN; tax cheat

The state of Tennessee provided Edwin John Mackie Jr. with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Houston School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to pay federal income taxes
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so or did so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2019) Eddie practices at 16334 Martin Creek Road in Granville, Tennessee.
