Attorney Paul Talley of Dandridge, TN; liar, repeat offender

The state of Tennessee provided Paul Richard Talley with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law. 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

Paulie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Paulie went uninvited into the home of a prospective client at the request of the prospective client's sister and accepted

employment in the matter. Thereafter, he failed to withdraw from representation after being discharged by the client.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

Paulie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Lied to court that both clients had accepted settlement when in fact one of the client’s did not do so
• Caught lying to court when client provided recording of meeting wherein client refused settlement offer
• Found in contempt of court on the basis of an intentional or reckless disregard for the orders of the court and for causing substantial interference with the orderly and efficient administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2018) Paulie practices at 145 East Main Street in Dandridge, Tennessee.
