Attorney Gail Laser of Park City, UT; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Gail E. Laser with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from Harvard University Law School. She also received a law license from the state of Utah in 2003.

The Third Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Gail guilty of the following misconduct.

• Disrespected rights of third persons
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Improperly obtained information and evidence from another firm’s computer file regarding an opposing party in a pending lawsuit

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Valerie by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Valerie practices with the State University of New York in Albany.
