Attorney Kennard Helton of Dardanelle, AR; greedy loser

The state of Arkansas presented Kennard Keith Helton with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional found Kenny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Knowingly disobeyed a court order to filed accounting of an estate (Screw you, said Kenny!)
• Improperly entered into loan arrangement with 84-year-old client
• Borrowed $60,000 from elderly client that represented entirety of her assets
• Failed to obtain written consent from client re: conflict involving $60,000 loan

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Kenny’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one (1) complimentary caution for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (August 2018), Kenny practices in Dardanelle, Arkansas.
