Attorney Antonio Calayan of Philippines; lying loser

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Antonio V. Calayan with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misrepresented quote made by sitting judge
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Exhibited malice in filing sham lawsuits against opposing counsel
  • Grossly abused right of recourse to the courts by the filing of multiple actions concerning the same subject matter or seeking substantially identical relief
  • Filed pleadings indiscriminately
  • Filing of multiple actions was contemptuous and a violent violation of his oath
  • Made false and/or frivolous complaints about sitting judge
  • Failed to observe candor, fairness and good faith before the court
  • Failed to assist in speedy/efficient administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Tony practices in Manila, Philippines.
