Attorney Steven Ford of St. Ignace, MI, disgusting pervert

Up until October 2003, Steven Ford sat on the 92nd District Court for Luce and Mackinac Counties in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. In addition to being a Judicial Misfit, Judge Ford was also an Episcopalian minister.
 
In 2002, the Michigan Judicial Commission found Judge Steven Ford guilty of the following perverted conduct.
 
Perverted conduct re: Magistrate Judge St. Louis
 
In early 2002, Ms. St. Louis approached Judge Ford for counseling in his position as a minister. She discussed the fact that her fiancé was not affectionate with her during a recent trip to Atlantic City. Judge Ford responded by telling her that if he was dating her and was on vacation with her, he’d never want to leave the hotel room, and would stay in bed and make love to her all day. Praise the Lord!
In May 2002, Judge Ford approached Ms. Louis to thank her for assisting him in court. He then bent over and said, “I really want to thank you,” and kissed her on the lips.
  • Three weeks later, Ms. Louis went into Judge Ford’s office to get his signature on some judgments. He the left his char, grabbed her around the waits, pulled her towards him, kissed her and retired to his seat. Goshes and Gollies, sounds like a lotta work, right?
  • Two weeks later, Judge Ford went into Ms. Louis’ office and inquired about her relationship with her fiancé, and began rubbing her shoulders and neck. Again, he bent down and kissed her on the lips. Is this guy a Saint or what?
  • In Dec. 2002, Ms. Louis was standing at a computer when the Rev. approached from the rear, pressed his body against hers so that his pelvis rested against the back and side of her body, and grabbed her by the buttocks. This quasi- judicial/religious ceremony apparently lasted about 20 seconds.
  • On the morning of Jan. 8, 2003, Judge Ford entered Ms. Louis’ office and while there, grabbed her and pulled her toward him and kissed her on the lips.
  • In the afternoon of Jan 8, 2003, Judge Ford again Ms. Louis’ office and began conversing about problems with her fiancé, and the fact she had called off the wedding. He then said, “If we were in a hot tub, I would be licking and kissing you all over.” As he made the comment, he rubbed her breasts for five seconds. Hey, cool it! It was only five seconds.
Perverted conduct re: Ms. Marion Danielson
 
Ms. Danielson was Judge Ford’s court reporter. Beginning in 1995 Judge Ford first touched or grabbed Ms. Danielson’ buttocks. Eventually, the touching/grabbing incidents increased to at least one per week. She obviously required more counseling, right?
  • During one conversation, Judge Ford pulled Ms. Danielson onto his lap and held her down so she could not get up. He then placed his arms around her mid-section and squeezed as she struggled to get away from him. After 5 to 30 seconds, she was able to pull away. 
  • In early 2003, while Judge Ford was walking down the hall with Ms. Danielson, he had his hand on her buttocks the entire time while she traveled to her office. 
  • On another occasion, he approached her from behind and stood with his body against hers, so that he was straddling her leg and his pelvis was pressing against her side and buttocks. 
Surfing for Porn on Court Computer
 
A forensic review of Judge Ford’s hard drive (No, no, the other one) revealed that he had been surfing for porn at public expense for over two years. Surprised?
 
The enablers on the Michigan Supreme Court allowed attorney Steven Ford to retain his law license despite his deplorable conduct as a celebrated pervert. This only further proves that Judicial/Attorney Misfits are held to a lower standard of conduct then we are.
