Attorney Joseph Hurley of Wilmington, DE; potty mouth pervert

The state of Delaware presented Joseph A. Hurley with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from the Dickinson School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Made numerous sexually explicit remarks to state prosecutors
• Repeatedly engaged in uttering religiously insensitive remarks to state prosecutors
• Discussed exposing himself with female prosecutors
• Made insulting and demeaning comments to three female deputy attorneys general
• Referred to a male prosecutor’s Jewish faith, and suggested to him that he should be a “goat herder in Lebanon”
• Sent copy of letter to female prosecutor stating he used to expose his “thing” to girls in a movie theater using a popcorn box he held on his lap
• Asked female prosecutor to sit on his lap in a courtroom
• Referred to masturbation in emails to a young male prosecutor
• Called a male Jewish prosecutor a “certified asshole”

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
