Attorney Michael Morgan of Seattle; pervert, moron, II Duce Wannabee

 
Beginning in January 2006, attorney Michael Morgan was a sitting Judge in the Seattle area.
 
It didn’t take long for Judge Michael Morgan to prove he was unworthy of the judgeship bestowed upon him. In 2007 complaints were filed with the Judicial Commission regarding his egregious misconduct.
 
Based on those complaints, the Commission filed a formal complaint against Judge Morgan on April 29, 2008. Subsequently, Judge Michael Morgan admitted he was guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Repeatedly discussed matters of a personal and sexual nature with court staff
  • Made repeated statements to court staff in an intimidating manner, indicating that he would discharge them and in regards to one
  • In questioning one clerk he asked a clerk would question his authority, saying his knowledge of all the dead bodies in the court and raising his voice and slamming the door.
  • Made jokes and comments about another judge’s alleged personal issues
  • Referred to another judge as a moron and made similar comments about other judges and their staff
Judge Michael Morgan had the chutzpah to claim that his comments calling judges/staff morons, etc. was taken out of context. I suppose if he was talking about himself, then maybe it’s true, right?
 
Judge Michael Morgan’s So-Called Punishment
 
The die-in-the-wool apologists/enablers on the Judicial Commission punished Judge Morgan by gifting him with a “complimentary reprimand.”  The Commission also ordered that Judge Morgan attend a judicial ethics class. Why?
