Attorney John Meldorf of Hixson, TN; ethical troll

The state of Tennessee presented John R. Meldorf with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Collected money from bankruptcy trustee that should have gone to his former client
  • Failed to advise client he collected funds belonging to her from bankruptcy trustee
  • Failed to safeguard client funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Johnny practices at 2895 Northpoint Blvd in Hixson, Tennessee.
