Attorney George Mott of Nashville; lying Dumbo

The state of Tennessee presented George Avery Mott with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Georgie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to file required filing fees on client’s behalf in bankruptcy matter
  • Failed to act fairly in dealing with opposing party and counsel
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Georgie by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2018), Georgie practices at 1477 Doubletree Lane in Nashville, Tennessee.
