U.S. Judge Timothy Black of Columbus, OH; One of the Good Guys

The state of Ohio provided Timothy Seymour Black with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the Northern Kentucky University Law School.

It should be noted that this isn’t Timmy’s 1st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. An article exposing said misconduct can be viewed by visiting the URL at the end of this article.

In one matter, Judge Black was assigned to preside over a case wherein the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) sued the state of Ohio over the passage of a law banning abortions involving Down syndrome fetuses, which was set to take effect on March 23, 2018 after Gov. John Kasich’s approval.

In ruling the law to be unconstitutional on its face, Judge Black stated:

  • “Federal law is crystal clear: ‘a State may not prohibit any woman from making the ultimate decision to terminate her pregnancy before viability.’”
  • “Here, Ohio’s new law wrongfully does just that: it violates the right to privacy of every woman in Ohio and is unconstitutional on its face.”

This is another fine example of Gov. Kasich and his comrades on the right intentionally wasting taxpayer money by passing a law they absolutely knew was unconstitutional.

These certified losers will now waste even more taxpayer money by appealing Judge Black’s ruling to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals where they’ll surely loose. However, being the taxpayer spendthrift losers, they are, they will then waste even more money by filing a useless appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court.

Kudos to Judge Black for displaying the courage and fortitude to let Gov. Kasich and his comrades know in no uncertain terms that their conduct was blatantly unconstitutional.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Judge Black continues to sit as a U.S. Federal District Court judge in Columbus, Ohio.
