Trump’s 53rd post-election lie: Rep. Adam Schiff is a total phony
To guarantee that he retains his standing as America’s Premier Congenital Liar, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump decided to shamelessly lie about Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
The matter involved Schiff’s comments about a Democrat memo recently (ca. 2/23/18) released by the Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee that rebuts the Nunes memo that was released earlier to support The Great Leader’s sham claim that the Robert Mueller investigation came about due to the misconduct of the FBI.
It should be remembered that The Great Leader cheerfully approved the release of the Nunes memo even thou the FBI and intelligence agencies strenuously objected; however, when the Democratic memo hit his desk, he laughingly refused to release it because he said it needed to be reviewed by the FBI.
In response to the release of the Democrats memo, The Great Leader sent out the following tweets via @Fox News, which was based on comments he heard stated by Fox News’ Molly Fine.
Shortly after reviewing the above tweets, CNN’s Brian Stelter discovered that The Great Leader was erroneously stating that Ms. Fine had said that Mr. Schiff had “omitted and distorted key facts,” when in fact she said just the opposite. (Alana Horowitz Satlin) In truth, Ms. Fine said:
“Congressman Schiff, he argues the Republican memo omitted and distorted key facts, that it was initially meant to meant to mislead the public.”
Mr. Schiff sent out the following tweet after the release of the Democrats memo.
So here we have The Great Leader cheerfully and ignorantly lying about what he heard on his favorite pro-Trump propaganda network about Rep. Adam Schiff.
Even worse, he has the chutzpah to call Mr. Schiff a “total phony.” If there ever was a phony running amuck in DC it is The Great Leader!
