Attorney Avrohom Becker of Brooklyn, NY; scheming fraudster

The state of New York presented Avrohom Becker with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Hofstra University Law School.

The 1st Department Disciplinary Board found Avrohom guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to advise defendant City of New York of his client’s death until eleven (11) years after she had passed away
  • Accepted and then cashed $55,000 settlement check from New York City four (4) years after his client’s death

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Avrohom by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in New York are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Avrohom was never criminally charged with fraud.

As we speak (ca. June 2018), Avrohom practices at 120 1740 51st Street in Brooklyn, New York.
