Attorney Rudolph Bata Jr. of Murphy, NC; ethical troll

The state of North Carolina presented Rudolph A. Bata Jr. with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Emory University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Rudy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
• Failed to recognize conflict and continued to communicate with the former client’s new lawyer on behalf of the homeowner’s association
• Bata’s conflicts check system was deficient

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Rudy gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2018) Rudy practices at 225 Valley River Avenue in Murphy, North Carolina.
