Attorney Jocelyn Mims of Nashville; convicted criminal

 

The state of Tennessee provided Jocelyn Doria Mims with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Joyce guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty of engaging in a conspiracy to introduce contraband into a correctional facility
  • Pled guilty to attempted introduction of contraband into correctional facility

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Joyce by gifting her with a complimentary 5-year suspension of her law license.

 

As we speak (ca. May 2018) Joyce practices at 2999 Smith Springs Road in Nashville, Tennessee.
