Judge Esequiel De La Paz of Kingsville, TX; Dumbo, scofflaw

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct Esequiel guilty of the following misconduct

• During trial, told litigant to “shut up”
• Failed to comply with the law
• While presiding over small claims trial, called litigant racial epithet (“Mayate”)
• Illegally acted as advocate for plaintiff in small claims matter
• Failed to provide written notice of trial date to defendant
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications with plaintiff
• Failed to maintain competence in the law (Dumbo)
• Acted undignified and discourteous in dealings with litigants

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Esequiel by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

He was also ordered to obtain 1-hour of “racial sensitivity” training. It was rumored that Jimmy chose to enroll in racial sensitivity classes at the David Duke Institute for Racial Purification located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Esequiel continues to sit as a Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Place 1, Kingsville, Kleberg County, Texas.
