Attorney Gregory Worobec of Alberta, CAN; serial deadbeat

The Law Society of Alberta presented Gregory J. Worobec with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Alberta Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly engaged in professional misconduct
  • As one would suspect, this isn’t Glen’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary $3,000 fine for engaging in the same kind of misconduct as aforementioned.
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to report five (5) separate writs of judgement that were rendered against him for $103,941, $8,407, $116,868, $70, 167 and $97,488

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $1,500 fine.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Greg practices with the Worobec Law Offices at 150 Broadway Crescent in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.
