Judge Daniel Boyd of Rogersville, TN; serial liar

The state of Tennessee provided Daniel Graham Boyd with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the Nevada School of law.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Judge Boyd guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was practicing his brand of law.

In one matter, while representing a widow regarding her husband’s estate over a five-year period, Danny made false statements to the daughters of his client leading them to believe that he was taking actions in furtherance of his representation of their mother that he was not. (Bill Jones)

In another matter, Danny represented an employee in a worker’s compensation claim. Other than filing a request for assistance, he took no action over a period of approximately five years to further her claim and he made false statements to his client over that period, leading her to believe that he was taking actions that he was not.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary 120-day suspension from the bench beginning in February 2018.

As we speak (ca. October 2018), Judge Boyd will unfortunately resume his position as a Hawkins County Juvenile Court judge in Rogersville, Tennessee in May 2018.
