Attorney Renay Fariss of Midlothian, VA; whining crybaby loser

The state of Virginia presented Renay M. Fariss with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the University of Richmond Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Corey guilty of the following misconduct.

In 2009, the Third District Section I Committee of the Virginia State Bar found Renay guilty of the following misconduct. A more detailed explanation of said misconduct can be found by visiting the URL listed at the end of this article.

• Improperly revealed confidential information protected by the attorney-client privilege
• Published client information that cleint asked to be held inviolate
• Failed to act fairly towards opposing counsel and opposing party
• Knew or should have known that disclosure of client privileged info was likely detrimental and/or would be embarrassing to client
• Presented or threatened to present criminal or disciplinary charges against opposing counsel for sole purpose to obtain n advantage in a civil matter
• Filed a lawsuit, initiated criminal charges, asserted a position, conducted a defense, delayed a trial, or took other action on client’s behalf when she knew, or it was obvious said action would merely harass or maliciously injure another
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Renay by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Renay’s Whiny Email

On January 6, 2018, Whiny Renay sent me the following email:

• “This is Renay M. Fariss, the lawyer whom you so viciously attacked in this blurb.”
• “Why do you not contact the lawyer first, to get his or her take on the matter?”
• “The woman was a crook, stole from me, smoked marijuana on the job, I mean, really?  You don't know half of the story.”

It should be noted that at the disciplinary hearing Renay moved the hearing officer to strike the misconduct charges filed against her, a request that was summarily denied. After the hearing panel denied the motion to dismiss the charges, Renay announced that she did not intend to introduce any evidence in her defense of the charges.

So now we have Renay viciously attacking the victim, Laura V. Walsh of her misconduct. It may well be that Renay has in fact knowingly and intentionally defamed Ms. Walsh.

A cursory reading of the Virginia State Bar’s findings of the misconduct enaged in by Renay  at http://www.vsb.org/docs/Fariss_7-7-09.pdf clearly disproves Renay’s whining is laughable at best. The mere fact that Renay decided to not defend herself against Ms. Walsh’s complaint is compelling evidence of her guilt of the misconduct findings of the State Bar.
