Donald Trump: Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner
Prior to the senatorial election held on Dec 12, 2017 in Alabama, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump announced his vigorous support for Roy “The Pervert” Moore. He did so during a so-called rally in Pensacola, Florida, which is close to Mobile, Alabama, and he also taped a robocall asking people to “Vote for Roy Moore.”
When Alabama held a primary election to replace former Senator Jeffrey Beauregard Sessions, The Great Leader supported Roy Moore’s opponent, Sen. Luther Strange. However, when Luther lost to Roy, The Great Leader displayed his switch-hitting abilities and cast his lot with Roy.
On election day, Roy lost his bid for the U.S. Senate to Democrat Doug Jones. Prior to the election, The Great Leader repeatedly attacked Mr. Jones by making the following false and defamatory statements.
“The last thing we need in Alabama and the U.S. Senate is a Schumer/Pelosi puppet who is WEAK on Crime, WEAK on the Border, Bad for our Military and our great Vets, Bad for our 2nd Amendment, AND WANTS TO RAISES TAXES TO THE SKY. Jones would be a disaster!”
After Mr. Jones whipped The Perv on Dec 12, 2017, The Great Leader sent out the following tweets.
“The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right! Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!” 3:22 AM - Dec 13, 2017
“If last night’s election proved anything, it proved that we need to put up GREAT Republican candidates to increase the razor thin margins in both the House and Senate.” 6:45 AM - Dec 13, 2017
