Judge Bob Schwartz of Albuquerque; pervert, ethicaly impoverished

After spending many years porking out at the public trough and acting as a reliable gopher for the Democratic Party, Bobby was rewarded when former Governor Bill Richardson appointed him as a Bernalillo County (Albuquerque) District Court Judge for Bernalillo.

Prior to being gifted with a judgeship, Bobby’s employment was as follows:
  • Second Judicial District DA Commissioner for the Public Utility Commission
  • Senior Criminal Justice Policy Advisor to former Gov. Richardson
  • Was also a standup comedian
In the recent past, the New Mexico Judicial Standards Commission filed a formal complaint against Judge Schwartz for engaging in the following misconduct:
  • Initiating a romantic relationship with a public defender who had numerous cases pending in his court
  • Failing to promptly recuse himself from cases involving the female public defender
  • During a lunch outing Bob presented the public defender with a box of purple latex gloves and a book entitled: “The One Hour Orgasm”
After its investigation of Bobby concluded, the Judicial Commission recommended that he be suspended for 60 days without pay and fined $6,000 after it found him guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Committed willful misconduct
  • Failed to recuse himself from cases involving a public defender he was romantically involved with
  • Conduct reflected poorly on the integrity of the judiciary (What integrity?)
However, when the case came before the enablers and apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court they refused to suspend Bobby and merely fined him $6,000.

To be fair, the enablers also ordered that Bob the Perv complete a course regarding sexual harassment. An unreliable source indicated that Bobby will be attending the Herman Cain School for Sexual Predators in Atlanta.

As we speak (ca. November 2011) Bobby remains on the bench in Albuquerque.
