Attorney Katherine Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ; bigoted loser

The state of Arizona provided Katherine Leone Anderson with a law license in 2009 after she graduated from Gonzaga University Law School.

Kathy is Legal Counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), an organization dedicated to proudly discriminating against members of the Gay community under the sham guise of religious freedom.

Kathy and her fellow bigots at ADF were instrumental in the passage of a so-called “religious freedom” law that went into effect in Mississippi on October 10, 2017. That disgusting legislation that is solely intended to discriminate against LGBTQ citizens contains the following:

• Laughingly claims to protect “sincerely held religious beliefs”
• Allows so-called religious organizations, businesses, and individuals the legal right to discriminate against LGBTQ people
• Kathy and his bigoted comrades are advocating similar anti-LGBTQ laws across the U.S. of A.
• Allow for taxpayer funded faith-based organizations and its bigots to refuse provide critical services including emergency shelter to same sex couples
• Bigots could refuse to sell/rent homes to a gay person
• Allows religious organization to fire or discipline employees for being gay, trans, or pro-gay, even if they have positions that have nothing to do with religion or education
• Government employees are provided with legal protections to discriminate against LGBTQ folks
• The law allows county clerks, judges, and magistrates to refuse to authorize same-sex marriages without facing any consequences

So here we have a so-called attorney who took an oath to uphold the U.S. and Arizona Constitutions regarding equal protection and adhering to the law (Supreme Court rulings) advocating for the blatant discrimination against members of the gay community by pretending that Mississippi Bigots can so act because Jesus told them it was the right thing to do.

What is especially galling is the fact that members of the LGBTQ community are taxes to support the bigots in the Mississippi Legislature that voted to cheerfully discriminate against them.
