Attorney Alisa Lashelle of Jackson, TN; cheating slacker

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Alisha Lashelle Simmons with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Alisa guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Alisa!)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fee (cheater)
• Failed to properly terminate client representation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Alisa by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2017), Alisa practices at 169 Little Brooke Lane in Jackson, Tennessee.
