Attorney William Moritz of Hope, AR; Dumbo, repeater

The state of Arkansas presented William Kurt Moritz with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Little Rock Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to prepare schedule of assets on behalf of client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Billy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and a $1,000 fine.
