Attorney David Sotomayor of Orland Park, IL; drug dealer

The state of Illinois presented David Sotomayor with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dave arranged for the sale of cannabis (marijuana) to a client and an uncover law enforcement officer.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (August 2018), Dave practices with the Law Offices of David Sotomayor in Orland Park, Illinois.
