Attorney Wes Cowell of Chicago; ethical goblin

The state of Illinois presented Wes Cowell with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the Loyola University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Wes guilty of the following misconduct.

• Mismanaged $45,257 in funds belonging to a client in a domestic relations matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Wes by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
