Attorney Carol Cagle of Alton, IL; liar, repeat offender

The state of Illinois presented Carol Lorraine Cagle with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from the John Marshall Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Johnson guilty of the following misconduct.

Carol’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to disclose relevant info about client to bankruptcy court
• Neglected two client matters
• Misrepresented (lied) re: status of matters to her clients

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Carol by gifting her with a complimentary 9-month suspension of her law license.

Carol’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Neglected six client matters
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Carol!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Carol by gifting her with a complimentary 2-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (January 2018), Carol practices with William E. Sisler, Attorney at Law Ltd. at 10 N. Galena Avenue in Freeport, Illinois.
