Attorney Steven Barleben of Chicago; thieving loser

The state of Illinois presented Steven Edward Barleben with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged excessive fee in probate matter (thief)
• Engaged in conflict of interest in acquiring propriety interest in related litigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (January 2018), Stevie practices with the Law Office of Steven E. Barleben at 3830 North Ashland Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
