Attorney Robert Miller of Bloomington, IN; ethical leprechaun

The state of Indiana presented Robert Thomas Miller with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as an assistant Monroe County prosecutor.

  • Assisted cause of civil plaintiff by prosecuting concurrent criminal action v. the civil defendant at a time that the criminal action was pending
  • Failed to comply with several court discovery orders (Up yours, said Bobby!)
  • After criminal action was dismissed because of Bobby’s inaction, he had the audacity to resurrect the case after he knew the statute of limitations for so acting had expired

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Bobby, unbelievably continues to be employed as an assistant prosecutor in the Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office in Bloomington, Indiana.
