Attorney Shawn Sornson of Salem, OR; thieving loser

The state of California provided Shawn Michael Sornson with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from California Western University Law School.

The California State Bar found Shawn guilty of the following misconduct.

• Collected an illegal or excessive fee (thief)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to file annual accountings in conservatorship matter
• Charged and collected fees without court approval
• Court ordered show cause hearing on why Shawn shouldn’t be removed as conservator
• After client died, failed to file accounting with court for five months

As one would suspect, this isn’t Shawn’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reproval for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Shawn by gifting him with a complimentary reproval.  

As we speak (ca. April 2018), Shawn practices with Shawn M. Sornson PC at 5030 Commercial Street SE in Salem Oregon.
