Attorney Oscar Wong of Ontario, CAN; serial Dumbo

The Law Society of Upper Canada presented Oscar Choi-Wah Wong with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Oscar guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Failed to be on guard against being duped by unscrupulous clients or associated persons in connection with the transactions involving 12 properties
  • Abdicated his professional responsibility by failing to supervise his real estate practice in connection with various real estate Transactions
  • Failed to provide lender clients with competent services (Dumbo)
  • Failed to follow express lender client instructions
  • Failed to maintain the security of a specially encrypted diskette and personalized pass providing access to the land registry system
  • Failed to disclose material facts to lender/purchaser clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society punished Oscar by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2017), Oscar practices with Oscar C. Wong PC at 330 Highway 7 East in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
