Attorney George Coutlee Jr. of British Columbia; repeat offender

The Law Society of British Columbia presented George Coutlee Jr. with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia Law School.

The Law Society found George guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Admitted to engaging in professional misconduct
  • Provided services in estate matter while prohibited from so acting
  • Blatant disregard for orders regarding law practice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t George’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received several complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished George by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Clayton practices with Coutlee & Company at 1270 Salish Road in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.
