Attorney Abraham Gertner of Baltimore; ethical goblin

The state of Maryland presented Abraham Allan Gertner with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Abe guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to maintain complete trust account records
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to advise clients of terms of agreement with third parties
• Failed to keep accurate records of trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Abe by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2017) Abe practices at 814 North Calvert Street in Baltimore, Maryland.
