Attorney Paul Edmondson of Yakima, WA; slacker, serial offender

The state of Washington presented Paul D. Edmondson with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

Paulie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 21-day suspension of his law license.

Paulie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
• Engaged in criminal conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

Paulie’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) 
• Acted knowingly in failing to perform services for client
• Caused actual injury to his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.
