Solicitor Paul Jardine of Edinburgh, Scotland; ethical goblin

The Law Society presented Paul Saunders Jardine with a law license in 1997.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to follow Code of Conduct for Scottish Solicitors
• Breached Advertising and Promotion Practice Rules
• Failed to follow Law Society Guidance on Mandates in relation to his actions at time of dissolution of partnership
• Redirected partnership mail w/o knowledge or consent of partners
• Misrepresented his positions regarding partnership

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure and a fine in the sum of £5,000.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Paulie practices with Jardine Philips LLP at 205 Morningside Road in Edinburgh, Scotland.
