Solicitor John Xenos of New South Wales; thieving slacker

The Law Society of New South Wales presented John Alexander Xenos with a law license in 1985.

The Legal Services Commissioner found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with rules re: handling of trust funds
  • Caused deficiency in trust account
  • Misappropriated (stole) trust funds and monies due to counsel
  • Failed to pay the complainant’s fees
  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Negligence led to delay in prosecuting client claims
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Legal Services Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2017), Johnny practices with PJG Solicitors at 305 The Kingsway in Caringbah, New South Wales, Australia.
