Judge John A. Bell of Newport, TN: repeat offender, loser, moron  
John Bell was presented with a law license by the Tennessee Supreme Court in 1983. Unfortunately for the good citizens of the Nashville are, Johnny the Loser has been sitting as a Cocke County General Sessions judges since 1998.
In June 2010 the Court of the Judiciary found Judge Bell guilty of a variety of misconduct, some of which is addressed below.
This wasn’t Johnny’s first bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. Johnny ha
 d previously been disciplined when he received a warning for delays in issuing rulings on cases. Déjà vu all over again for Johnny the Loser!
The Comedians on the Court of the Judiciary
As a consequence of Johnny the Moron’s misconduct the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Court of the Judiciary punished him by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day paid suspension from the bench. Is Tennessee a great country or what?
In addition to gifting Johnny with a 90-day paid vacation, the comedians ordered that Johnny the Moron complete forty-two hours of judicial ethics training. This order doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test! Ethics training for a Moron that graduated from law school twenty-eight years ago. What‘s the point?
An unreliable source indicated that Johnny opted to take ethics classes at the prestigious Huey B. Long School of Ethics located at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. How cool is that?
As we speak the Dishonorable John A. Bell remains sitting on the bench in Newport, Tennessee. What a joke!
