Trump’s 27^th post-election lie: signed 29 new bills in first 100 days

In late April 2017, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump decided to hold an election rally at the taxpayer’s expense at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

To appease the intellectually indigent audience members, The Don decided to spew forth yet another of his infamous and never-ending lies. In this instance, The Don falsely stated:

“I’ve signed 29 new bills not surpassed since Truman.”

There is no doubt whatsoever, that The Don has not and could not possibly have “passed” any bills (legislation) during his first 100 days in office. In fact, he’ll never be able to do so if he were to remain in office for two terms. Article 1, Section 1, of the U.S. Constitution states:

• “All Legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

Legislation and/or the passing of laws is conducted as follows:

• A representative sponsors a legislative bill
• The bill is then assigned to a committee for study
• When released by the committee, it is voted on, debated or amended
• When the bill passes the House, it moves on to the Senate
• The Senate assigns it to a committee
• When released from committee voted on by Senators
• If it passes the Senate it goes back to the House for it and Senate to work out differences they may have
• When passed by House and Senate, President has 10 days to sign or veto the legislation

It is extremely upsetting to know that we have a President who is willing to lie about the most insignificant matters for the sole purpose of self-gratification. More importantly, this is further evidence that The Don has a First-Degree Black Belt in Narcissism. In truth, The Don is an embarrassment to all those hard-working Narcissists running amuck amongst us.

What is even more disturbing is the fact that 90% or more of The Don’s supporters don’t give a damn how much he lies or how many pussies he grabs. They still believe his Bullshit line that he’s going to “Make America Great Again,” when in truth his should be saying he’s going to “Make Trump Richer Again.”
