Judge Donald Herbert of the UK; ethical leprechaun

The Law Society presented Donald Peter Herbert with a law license in 1982.

The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly made public speech criticizing Election Commissioner’s decision declaring Luftur Rahman’s election as Mayor of Tower Hamlets void
  • Misconduct placed reputation of judiciary at risk
  • Conduct fell below standard expected of member of the judiciary (Really?)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Lord Chief Justice and Lord Chancellor, cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary written formal advice.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Donnie continues to be employed as a fee-paid Employment and Immigration Judge in London, United Kingdom.
