Trump's 17th post-election lie: won election by historic proportion

In a recent (late March 2017) Tweet, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump decided to once again spew forth another lie about his electoral defeat of Hillary.

In this instance, The Don was pretending that he wasn’t concerned about the fact that his former security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn had requested immunity for testifying about the Russia/Trump connections prior to the election and subsequent thereto.

In his laughable and false tweet, The Don said:

  • “Mike Flynn should ask for immunity in that this is a witch hunt (excuse for big election loss), by media & Dems, of historic proportion!”

This isn’t the first time that The Don lied that he won the election by “historic proportions.” The truth is that Hillary beat his lying ass by 2.9 million votes.

His electoral victory wasn’t of “historic proportions” since he only won 304 electoral votes. In fact, the table below proves beyond all doubt that The Don’s electoral college victory was beaten on 21 occasions from 1904 through 2012.

As the table establishes, Reagan received 584 electoral college votes in 1984, Nixon 520 in 1972 and FDR 523 in 1936. Apparently, The Don didn’t avail himself of the remedial math classes offered at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Any 1st grader would know that 584 is a larger number than 304. However, if you’re a congenital liar, then maybe 304 is a larger number than 584.
